Falcon’s Fields is a 147-acre farm focused on breeding and raising the finest Wagyu, Angus and Hereford beef in New York State. Our primary farm operation is located in Millerton with additional grazing pastures and hayfields in Rhinebeck. Christian and Jamie Cheney own and actively manage the farm, continuing our family tradition of raising cattle in New England that dates back to 1914.  

We believe that happy cows make tasty beef. Our herd grazes on our pasture day-in and day-out. The only stress our cattle encounter is from mother nature, and the occasional visit from our farm dogs, Maddy and Henry.

The small size of our herd and our family-first approach allow us to raise our cattle the way that we want our family to eat - without the use of hormones or antibiotics. We're honored to be able to share this our products with your family as well.

Our cows not only get to graze on our grass, but are also supplemented with a locally sourced, antibiotic- and hormone-free grain mix that is custom mixed for our farm. Feeding this mix throughout the lifecycle (vs simply finishing with grain in the last months of life) is what makes our animals so darn tasty. After all, it is the marbling of the beef that cultivates the tender and juicy taste, and great carcass marbling only comes with a consistent supply of grain in a cow’s diet.
